Rate: -290 per day
Hours: 37 per week, Monday - Friday
The Opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity for an Asset Catalogue Engineer to join the Maintenance Team within the Site Comm-Ops Directorate during the construction phase of Hinkley Point C.
In this role, you will be at the heart of the end-to-end catalogue creation process, ensuring the accurate and timely population of the Asset Suite 9 (AS9) catalogue. You will work closely with both onshore and offshore teams, guaranteeing that all catalogue data is accurate, up to date, and ready for seamless use across the project.
Your focus will be on data quality, process governance, and lifecycle management, ensuring every piece of equipment and material is tracked from delivery through to installation.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain compliance with AS9 catalogue business rules, recording and managing deviations.
- Lead twice-weekly meetings with offshore teams to guide and validate catalogue progress.
- Drive upfront cataloguing to enable efficient material receipt and deployment to site.
- Support direct-to-site deliveries, ensuring accurate asset lifecycle records.
- Oversee process adherence and data quality across digital tools used at HPC.
- Assist the MEH preconstruction team to ensure catalogue maturity supports project milestones.
- Manage Sensitive Nuclear Information cataloguing in line with regulations.
- Lead an onshore team handling both bulk installation and just-in-time materials.
- Contribute to full asset lifecycle management-from warehouse delivery to site handover.
About You
We are looking for an experienced Cataloguing Engineer with strong technical understanding and a keen eye for detail. You will be comfortable working with large datasets, confident in digital tools, and able to interpret technical documentation. Experience in mechanical, electrical, and HVAC phases of construction will be a strong advantage.
Skills & Experience Required
- Excellent attention to detail and data accuracy.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Solid understanding of data sources, organisation, and storage.
- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and ideally Power BI.
- Experience with large datasets and materials management digital tools.
- Ability to read drawings and interpret technical documentation.
- Previous catalogue creation experience in an Enterprise Asset Management System.
- HPC project experience desirable.
