Aftercare Manager - YorkshireNational Contractor£60k-£70k + generous packageAbout the Role

We are working with a leading construction business seeking an experienced Aftercare Manager to oversee and coordinate the smooth handover of completed projects and manage post-completion issues. This is a crucial client-facing role ensuring high-quality service delivery during the defects liability period and beyond.You will act as the main point of contact for clients and internal teams to ensure all snagging, warranty claims, and remedial works are resolved quickly, professionally, and to the highest standard.Responsibilities

Manage the aftercare process for completed projects across residential, commercial, or mixed-use developments.Coordinate defect rectification with subcontractors and internal teams.Log, track, and report on all issues during the defects liability period (DLP).Liaise with clients and stakeholders to provide timely updates and maintain satisfaction.Organise site inspections, schedule works, and ensure all remedial work meets required standards.Produce regular reports for internal teams and clients, highlighting trends, outstanding issues, and resolutions.Ensure all health and safety procedures are followed during remedial works.Collaborate with project and site teams to improve future handover processes.About You

Proven experience in an Aftercare, Customer Care, or Defects Manager role within the construction industry.Strong knowledge of construction processes, snagging, and warranty periods (NHBC, Premier, etc.).Excellent communication and client-facing skills.Organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple projects or issues at once.Comfortable liaising with site teams, subcontractors, and senior stakeholders.Full UK driving licence (if travel to sites is required).In return you will be working for a great name in the industry with an experienced team who operate in a very positive working environment with a great atmosphere.For full details of the role please click the link to apply or contact me on (phone number removed) or forward your CV in confidence to (url removed)
