Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Painting Supervisor to manage a range of painting and decorating contracts from initial enquiry through to successful completion. This is a hands-on and varied role that involves site supervision, contract management, estimating, and client liaison.
Key Responsibilities:

Site Surveys: Conduct detailed surveys of properties or structures to assess painting and decorating requirements.

Estimating & Tendering: Estimate costs, labour, materials, and timelines for projects; prepare and submit competitive tender packages.

Health & Safety Compliance: Prepare risk assessments and method statements; ensure health and safety standards are met across all sites.

Project Management: Oversee projects from inception to completion, meeting productivity targets and quality benchmarks.

Team Supervision: Manage and support site-based operatives to ensure efficient delivery and compliance with company standards.

Client Liaison: Maintain professional communication with clients, ensuring expectations are met and work is delivered to a high standard.

Problem Solving: Use initiative to identify and resolve issues on-site quickly and effectively.

Reporting & Monitoring: Track progress, monitor budgets, and provide updates to senior management.
Requirements:

Proven experience managing painting and decorating contracts from start to finish.

Demonstrated ability to price individual painting projects with a minimum value of -20,000.

Experience in preparing and winning work through competitive tender processes.

Strong commercial acumen and financial analysis skills.

Excellent project management and organisational abilities.

Experience supervising and motivating site-based teams.

Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Strong IT skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Full UK driving licence.
