I''m working with a local authority in West Sussex looking for an experienced Building Surveyor to support their Capital Works programme on an interim basis.

You''ll be joining a proactive and supportive team delivering a wide range of improvement works across a diverse housing stock of approx. 2,700 properties (houses and low-rise flats).

• Delivering capital improvement works, specifically kitchens and bathrooms

• Supporting a mini-project to bring 40+ long-term voids back into use (originally earmarked for redevelopment), working closely with contractors

• Contributing to the design and development stages of upcoming large-scale capital projects

• Overseeing damp & mould refurbishment works across the housing stock

• Ensuring works are carried out to a high standard, on time, and within budget

• Qualified Building Surveyor with recent experience in social housing or public sector capital works

• Strong project management and contractor liaison skills

• Understanding of building pathology including damp & mould

• Ability to work autonomously and manage a varied workload

• -425450 per day (Outside IR35)

• 6-month initial contract

• 1 day working from home
