Package/Benefits A salary in the region of 30,000 depending on experience. Working hours - 36.25 per week. 08.30 am to 4.30 pm Monday to Thursday and 8.30 am to 3.15 pm Friday. Responsibilities of the Engineering Technician 3D Solid modelling using SolidWorks 2025 Assist in the design of castings, pressings and turned/cold formed assemblies. Use of industry/material standards; EN/ISO standards. Produce manufacturing drawings using Solidworks. Produce product specifications and technical reports. After training, assist in all aspects of product testing using 50kN, 1000kN and 2000kN Test machines. Prepare test reports including graphs and test data. Keep up to date written and electronic data files for all enquiries and projects Assist the Technical Support department in creating general assembly drawings for specific customer applications.
