The Principal Civil Engineer will join a well-established infrastructure team delivering development-led schemes across the UK. Key responsibilities
* Lead highways and drainage design for development projects
* Manage S278, S38 and S104 submissions through to approval
* Check and approve drawings, calculations and technical reports
* Provide mentoring and technical leadership to engineers
* Coordinate with clients, architects and local authorities
* Support Flood Risk Assessments and Drainage Strategies
* Oversee project delivery to programme and budget
* Provide site involvement and construction support when required

Candidate requirements
* Degree in Civil Engineering
* Chartered or near Chartered with ICE
* Strong UK consultancy experience in development infrastructure
* Confident leadership and client-facing capability
* Collaborative and commercially aware approach

The Principal Civil Engineer role offers hybrid flexibility, varied national project exposure, strong progression and a salary of -55,000 - -70,000 plus benefits. This Principal Civil Engineer position will suit someone ready to lead, support team growth and strengthen key client relationships.
