You will be directly supporting the Head of Tax with all tax matters across DCS, working with multiple stakeholders. You will be responsible for managing tax matters covering multiple jurisdictions, including various European countries, India and Japan.All taxes are within the remit of this role and as such it offers excellent growth opportunities for the right candidate who may wish to progress to a Head of Tax / Tax Director role in future. A deep knowledge of all taxes is not expected – candidates from different technical backgrounds will be considered.Duties and Responsibilities

Tax GovernanceSupport in further development of the DCS tax governance framework (including SAO and CCO documentation)Support Head of Tax on projects as and when they arise, including MandA activity where DD and tax structuring workstreams will be led centrally from the UKSupport with TP operating model design and implementationSupport with response to tax authority audits / investigationsCompliance and ReportingOverall management (with support from local finance managers) of the outsourced tax compliance processes for all DCS entities, identifying opportunities for efficienciesProduction of tax disclosures and tax notes for DCS statutory accounts and, where the DCS entity is audited, management of queries re: audit of taxMonthly tax analytics for management reporting purposesWorking with external stakeholders to provide timely data to inform their tax compliance and reporting processesManagement of TP documentation process outsourced to external advisorExperience and Qualifications

ACA / ACCA qualified or equivalent;5+ years’ experience in international tax;Strong tax accounting experience;Excellent interpersonal skills and cultural awareness to build working relationships with local finance teams and advisors;VAT experience is desirable but not essential; andA willingness to get involved with full end-to-end processes is essential.Seniority level
