Key Responsibilities • Supporting residents with personal care including washing, dressing and toileting • Assisting residents with mobility and moving safely around the home • Supporting residents during mealtimes • Providing companionship and emotional support • Following individual care plans and health and safety procedures • Working closely with the wider care team to maintain a safe and caring environment • Helping promote resident independence and wellbeing Requirements • Previous experience working as a Care Assistant, Healthcare Assistant or Support Worker • Experience working within elderly residential care homes • Comfortable supporting residents with personal care • A caring, patient and respectful approach to care • Ability to work long day and night shifts • Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team • Right to work in the UK • Enhanced DBS or willingness to obtain ..... full job details .....
