At our Wendover Nursery we are seeking an experienced senior practitioner to support the Room Leader as Deputy Room Leader. Working a 38 hour week, salary is up to £32k depending on experience and qualifications, with great benefits. We have onsite parking together with a local bookable bus service which stops outside the nursery.Wendover Nursery is part of the CC Nurseries Group, based in Wendover within walking distance of the mainline train station at Stoke Mandeville and an easy commute from Aylesbury. Provide stimulating and purposeful experiences, environments and resources to children that are appropriate to their age and stage of developmentEnhance the all-around daily needs of children, including their physical, intellectual, social and emotional developmentAssist with embedding an effective key person approach to enable children to form secure attachmentsEnsure the safety and wellbeing of every child, staff, parent and visitor alwaysWork within a team to support all children and team members within your roomLead and support the team alongside the Room LeaderUnderstand and ensure that the requirements of the statutory framework for the EYFS are metQualified level 3 or above, with at least 3 years experience of working in a day nursery and ideally some experience of being senior within the roomQualifications
