This could be the position for you!We are working with a lovely specialist school in Newbury who support children and young people aged 6-19 with social, emotional and mental health needs. They are currently looking for an Emotional Support Worker to join their team ASAP on a full-time basis. The school is passionate about creating an inclusive culture that recognizes, celebrates and caters towards the individuality of their pupils. As an Emotional Support Worker, you will work closely with students, teachers and parents to assist in creating the opportunities that will enable students to flourish. Many of the students here have experienced early childhood trauma, have anxiety and other significant mental health needs, so this role can enable you to have a significant positive impact.Key information for an Emotional Support Worker: 85-100 a day depending on experienceFull-time hours, term time onlyHours - 08:30-15:00ASAP startNewburyKey responsibilities as an Emotional Support Worker:Provide group and 1 to 1 support to children with social, emotional and mental health needsProvide classroom assistance to our lovely teachersFacilitate an inclusive and friendly environmentAssist students in understanding and regulating their emotionsEncourage and support children in achieving their bestDeliver ..... full job details .....
