Our client is looking for a hands-on Assistant Management Accountant on an interim basis to support the finance function across both UK and US business units. This is a highly transactional role, ideal for someone who enjoys working at pace, staying close to the detail, and contributing to month-end reporting. Key ResponsibilitiesProcessing journals, including accruals and prepaymentsAssisting with purchase ledger and sales ledger activities as requiredPerforming bank reconciliations across UK and US entitiesManaging intercompany reconciliations and postingsSupporting cash allocation and resolving credit control queriesAssisting in the preparation of monthly management accountsProducing variance analysis and supporting commentaryCompleting balance sheet reconciliationsEnsuring accurate month-end cut-off across multiple entitiesSupporting the consolidation of UK and US business unitsWorking across dual-currency environments (GBP/USD)Assisting with VAT (UK) and sales tax (US) processes where requiredMaintaining accurate financial records and supporting audit requirementsIdentifying and supporting process improvements and system efficiencies Skills and ExperiencePrevious experience in a similar Assistant Management Accountant or Accounts Assistant roleStrong transactional finance backgroundExperience working across multiple entities (ideally UK and US)Good understanding of month-end processesIntermediate Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups) ..... full job details .....
