This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced strip fitter to join a busy and professional bodyshop with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality repairs. The successful candidate will play a key role within the workshop, ensuring vehicles are stripped and rebuilt efficiently and to manufacturer standards. Key Responsibilities Stripping damaged vehicles ready for panel and paint repairs Refitting repaired or new panels and components to manufacturer standards Removing and refitting trims, bumpers, lights and mechanical components Identifying any additional damage during the strip process and reporting to the estimator or workshop controller Ensuring all parts are stored and labelled correctly Carrying out final rebuilds before vehicles move to quality control Maintaining a clean and organised working environment Requirements Previous experience as a strip fitter or MET technician within an accident repair centre or bodyshop Strong knowledge of vehicle components and repair processes Ability to strip and rebuild vehicles efficiently and safely Good attention to detail and ability to identify additional damage Ability to work both independently and as part of a workshop team ATA qualification would be advantageous but is not essential If you are an experienced strip fitter looking for a new opportunity with a reputable independent ..... full job details .....
