Job Description We are working with a highly respected and growing accountancy practice in Manchester that is seeking an experienced Audit Responsible Individual (RI) to join their senior leadership team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified auditor with RI status to take on a pivotal role within a progressive and ambitious firm. The Role: Acting as Responsible Individual for statutory audits and signing off audit reports in accordance with UK auditing regulations Leading, planning, and reviewing complex audit engagements across a diverse client base, including SMEs, larger corporates, and specialist sectors Driving audit quality by embedding best practice, technical accuracy, and compliance with ethical standards Developing and implementing audit methodology improvements to ensure efficiency and high-quality delivery Building and maintaining strong client relationships, providing strategic advice and identifying opportunities for added value Leading, mentoring, and coaching a high-performing audit team, developing future leaders Working closely with Partners and the leadership team to contribute to the firm s business strategy and growth objectives Playing an active role in business development, attending networking events, and supporting tender processes Monitoring regulatory updates and ensuring the firm remains ahead of legislative and technical changes Managing departmental budgets and ensuring profitability of the audit function About You: ACA or ACCA ..... full job details .....
