In this role, you''ll work collaboratively within service and project teams to design and implement medium to large-scale network solutions and changes. Your work will help deliver cost-effective services while supporting the wider mission of keeping UK Defence agile and secure.In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for:Work on delivery opportunities within the secure Defence and National Security sector.Understand business and technical requirements for network solutions.Produce relevant design collateral, including documentation required for governance reviews.Provide hands-on support for network configuration and implementation.Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during project delivery.Skills and experience required: Strong technical networking knowledge of:LAN switching and topologiesRouting protocols (eg, BGP, MPLS)VPNs, IPSec, and hardware encryptionProficient in Cisco or Juniper technologies, including experience with JUNOS or Cisco IOSDemonstrable network device configuration skills, network troubleshooting skills and approach to defect resolution Solid understanding of ..... full job details .....
