Aspired talent are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented CAD Technician for our client in Heywood with experience in 2D CAD to join our growing team. The successful candidate will support the production and sales departments by creating accurate drawings, programming jobs from customer designs, and assisting with manufacturing preparation.Hours are Monday to Friday 7am till 4pm or 8am till 5pm.This role is ideal for someone with strong 2D CAD skills who enjoys working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and has a keen eye for detail.Key ResponsibilitiesProducing accurate 2D CAD drawings from customer supplied drawings, samples, or specificationsProgramming jobs from drawings ready for productionConverting CAD drawings into formats suitable for manufacturing machineryManaging the CAD email account and responding to drawing requests within deadlinesAssisting the sales team with material sheet yield and production methodsLiaising with customers when drawings are incorrect or missing dimensionsSupporting production with drawing updates and revisionsMaintaining organised drawing records and tooling cataloguesAssisting with general administrative and technical tasks when requiredSkills and ExperienceExperience using 2D CAD software (such as AutoCAD, Alphacam, or similar)Strong attention to detail and accuracy when working from technical drawingsGood numerical and IT skillsAbility to manage workload and meet deadlinesGood communication and problem-solving skillsPrevious ..... full job details .....
