Our Leicester based client are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Account Manager/ Business Development Manager to join their expanding friendly team to manage clients and drivingbusiness growth.-
The account manager role will be divided into managing existing accounts to a high standard ensuring that clients requirements are exceeded at every stage and providing a link between the client and the internal teams. In addition a large part of the account manager role will be working on growing new business, utilising different avenues such as following warm leads, past clients and other opportunities.
The role-
- Develop and nurture strong relationships with key clients, acting as their main point of contact
- Oversee client projects from initial brief through to delivery, ensuring timelines, budgets and quality standards are met.
- Work closely with internal teams including production, warehouse, logistics and installation to ensure smooth project delivery
- Prepare and present project updates, KPI reports and recommendations to client and internal management team
- Identify opportunities for business growth and additional services within existing accounts
- Onboard new clients and expand business opportunities working with wider team to achieve this.-
- Ensure client satisfaction by addressing concerns, providing proactive solutions and maintaining regular communication
- Attend client meetings, trade shows, industry events and networking events to represent the company and build relationships
- Gather client testimonials and recommendations following successful project completion
The person-
- Proven experience in account management or client services, ideally within the retail or POS industry
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build lasting relationships
- Results-driven with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets
- Highly organised, excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously-
- A problem-solver who is able to think on their feet and provide effective solutions to client needs
- Proficient in IT systems including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook
- A team player who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Flexible and adaptable, willing to go the extra mile for clients and colleagues alike
