ESTIMATOR / ACCOUNT MANAGER - PRINT

STAFFORDSHIRE

Our client is seeking a commercially astute and experienced Estimator / Account Manager with a strong background in litho print. Experience with B2 format and familiarity with the Tharstern MIS system is highly desirable although any previous print or packaging knowledge would be considered.

This role bridges both production estimation and client account management and would be ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, customer-focused print environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Produce accurate and timely estimates for litho, large format, and digital print jobs using Tharstern MIS
• Liaise with production teams to ensure feasibility, accuracy and cost efficiency of quoted job
• Manage and develop key client accounts, acting as a reliable and proactive point of contact
• Prepare and follow up on quotations, converting opportunities into confirmed work
• Oversee job progress from quote through production to delivery, ensuring client expectations are met or exceeded
• Advise clients on best production methods, materials and print finishes based on project needs
• Maintain accurate records of client communication and job specifications
• Contribute to internal commercial discussions and support the business in identifying cost-saving and efficiency opportunities

Requirements:

• Proven experience in estimating within a print environment
• Knowledge of B2 format printing is preferred but not essential
• Hands-on experience with Tharstern MIS is essential or highly advantageous
• Excellent communication and client management skills
• Commercially aware with strong numerical and analytical abilities
• Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple projects under tight deadlines
• Strong team player with a proactive, solution-focused mindset
