Job description Overview Evoke Staffing are seeking a skilled Mechanic to join an established client based in Swindon. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude and be proficient in using both hand and power tools. As a Mechanic, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing various types of machinery and vehicles, ensuring they operate efficiently and safely. Responsibilities Conduct thorough inspections of machinery and vehicles to identify issues. Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, brake repairs, and tyre rotations. Diagnose mechanical problems using appropriate tools and techniques. Repair or replace defective parts using hand tools and power tools. Maintain accurate records of repairs and services performed. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean working environment. Collaborate with team members to improve processes and enhance service delivery. Skills Proficient in the use of hand tools and power tools essential for mechanical work. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues effectively. Excellent attention to detail, ensuring all work is completed to high standards. Good communication skills for effective collaboration with team members. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Pay - 16.00- 18.00 per hours, depending on experience.
