The role is office based and the individual will have previous experience of Plant and Materials buying within the construction industry. Role/Duties/Responsibilities Source and purchase construction materials, tools, and equipment.Negotiate pricing and manage vendor relationships.Monitor inventory and ensure stock availability.Collaborate with Site and Project managers to ensure procurement meets project deadlines.Maintain accurate records of purchases and expenditures.Work with suppliers and plant hire organisationsgood knowledge of pricing withing the construction industryexcellent organisational skillsability to work to deadlinesAssisting commercial team with pricing schedules The company can provide long term career development, the opportunity to work within a friendly and fast paced environment on interesting construction projects.
