Wigan Agency Up to £42 per hour Team Manager MASH (Duty) Team Office-Based Leadership Wigan Council is looking for an experienced Duty Team Manager to lead their Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH). This is a pivotal role in ensuring timely and effective decision-making for children and families at the front door of social care. You ll be managing a fast-paced environment where information-sharing, risk assessment, and partnership collaboration are critical to safeguarding outcomes. Strong leadership, decision-making, and MASH experience are essential. Key Responsibilities: Manage the day-to-day running of the MASH/Duty Team Provide leadership, oversight, and quality assurance of all incoming referrals Triage cases and ensure swift progression to appropriate teams Liaise with internal and external partners to support multi-agency safeguarding decisions Supervise and support social workers and duty staff within a high-pressure setting Practice Model: Wigan s MASH operates as a central access point for all children s safeguarding concerns.
