Maintenance Technician Role Overview:We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our engineering team. This role involves the mechanical and electrical assembly of high-precision machines. You will work closely with a team of experienced engineers, fitters, and wiremen to build complete systems from component level to finished product.Maintenance Technician Key ResponsibilitiesAssemble mechanical and electrical components for precision machines.Perform bench fitting and mechanical assembly tasks.Make minor adjustments to components using lathes, milling machines, and surface grinders.Assemble pneumatic systems and interpret pneumatic schematics.Conduct fault finding across electrical and mechanical systems.Read and work from detailed engineering drawings and general assembly schematics.Carry out electrical panel wiring and interpret electrical/electronic diagrams.Qualifications and Experience:Minimum Level 3 Engineering qualification or time-served equivalent.HNC qualification desirable.Proven experience in mechanical/electrical fitting within a manufacturing or engineering environment.Personal Attributes:Reliable, focused, and achievement-oriented.Professional, credible, and approachable.Able to work ..... full job details .....
