A leading national drinks wholesaler, supplying drink products, hospitality and marketing support to over 16,000 on-trade premises in the UK.

Reporting to the general manager, you will be responsible for ensuring we get our goods to where they need to be on time, planning in the Warehouse.

Job Responsibilities:

Organising staffing levels to meet business requirements.

Organising agency support as necessary.

Completing processing of orders, production of pick lists and dispatch notes and loading sheets in accordance with depot procedures.

Minimising delivery costs.

Ensuring all warehouse staff are fully inducted into their roles and that training sessions are fully supported.

Acting as the first point of contact for all warehouse operatives and ensuring a speedy response and resolution to any issues, referring to the operations Manager where appropriate.

Monitoring and taking appropriate action with regard to absence management.

Acting as a role model to the Depot by supporting the Distribution manager in other tasks as required.

What We’re Looking For:

You will come from a warehouse distribution background, ideally with load planning experience.

You will be comfortable with numerical data and be able to efficiently gather and analyze transport information.

You will have excellent customer service skills and the ability to work alongside the transport crew and act as the first point of contact to resolve issues.

As a skilled problem solver, you will always be thinking ahead, looking for improvements.

You will have a proactive and positive approach and step up to support at management level as required.
