Job Title: Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)

Location: Milton Keynes
Start Date: September 2025
Contract Type: Full-time – Temp to Perm
Salary: £90 – £120per day (dependent on experience)

About the Role:

A thriving primary school in the heart of Milton Keynes is looking for an experienced and proactive HLTA to support learning across KS1 and KS2. You will work closely with class teachers to deliver targeted interventions, cover classes when needed, and provide small-group support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver learning activities under teacher direction
• Cover whole classes during PPA or staff absence
• Support children with SEND and EAL through targeted interventions
• Track pupil progress and assist with assessments
• Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment

Requirements:

• HLTA status or equivalent qualification
• Proven classroom experience, ideally across primary year groups
• Confident managing classes and working independently
• Passionate about supporting children’s progress and wellbeing
