As our next MICE Sales Executive - Large Events you will beresponsible for fielding and responding to event enquiries (101 pax or more), converting them into bookings and then planning the event in conjunction with all relevant Hotel Departments. The MICE Executive is responsible for ensuring that all duties are carried out in accordance with Novotel standards and current legislation.Responsibilities include:Handling conference and events sales enquiries in a timely and professional manner, following established procedures and the hotel''s selling strategyTaking a pro-active lead in all Event enquiriesEnsuring effective communication in providing detailed information for all bookings to the Hotel Departmentsto ensure successful event deliveryConducting thorough show rounds of the hotel for potential and existing clientsMaximizing revenue opportunities and supporting further sales activities within the hotel, finding innovative ways to increase sales opportunities through proactive selling and upselling opportunitiesIdentifying and collecting sales leads, as well as growing and developing existing customer relationships through regular contactAttending any site visits, planning meetings, tastings or other occasions as required by a clientPrepare and presenting the weekly Function Sheet on scheduleCarry out any other reasonable duties that may be requiredQualifications

Previous experience in a hotel sales or meetings and events roleKnowledge of the LondonmarketDemonstrated success in a fast-paced sales environmentStrong communication and customer service skillsExcellent decision-making ability and a high degree of integrityMust be legally eligible to work in UKAdditional Information
