In this role, you’ll own the PandLs for our Black Sun entities—the Group’s largest revenue contributors—driving high-quality forecasting, budgeting and performance management.Why this role

Own the Black Sun entities’ PandLs — the Group’s largest revenue contributors — and run the UK and SG month-end, forecast and audit rhythm. This is a rare platform to learn fast in a PE-backed group, build toward FC/CFO, and help roll out Certinia (PSA) while standardising group reporting.This is the ultimate learning opportunity for a recently qualified accountant to see the whole finance stack end-to-end and learn how a world-class business runs. You’ll gain hands-on exposure across management reporting, forecasting, cash, audit, tax, systems, and commercial partnering — a fantastic platform to expand your technical toolkit and management skills and progress along a career path toward becoming a future commercial leader.Responsibilities

Month-end and management reporting (UK and SG)Deliver full management accounts pack (PandL, BS, CF) by entity to T+5 working days with clear variance analysis.Revenue recognition for fixed-price projects: WIP, accruals, deferrals, change-order tracking, write-offs.Balance sheet ownership: reconciliations for cash, AR/AP, deferred revenue, prepayments, fixed assets, payroll.Intercompany: recharges, eliminations, FX revaluation, and month-end entries.KPI pack: gross margin by project/client, utilisation/realisation reads, DSO and billing cadence.Continuous forecasting and budgets: Maintain a rolling 12–18-month PandL/BS/CF forecast per entity; update drivers monthly (or on material change).Own the 13-week cash flow for both entities; weekly refresh, variance bridge, and risk/opportunity log.Run the annual budget cycle; set timelines, templates, and consolidation.Monthly budget vs actuals: distribute budget owner packs with commentary, risks, and corrective actions.Statutory, tax and audit readiness: Prepare year-end stat accounts (FRS 102 UK; SFRS Singapore) with full lead schedules and PBC files.Liaise with external auditors; clear queries quickly and manage the timetable.Compliance: UK VAT returns; SG GST returns; support corporate tax computations via advisors; PAYE/IRAS liaison.Maintain strong internal controls and documentation across both jurisdictions.Systems and process: NetSuite super-user for GL/projects/rev rec; drive automation and month-end checklist discipline.Improve the close: shorten cycle time, reduce manual journals, standardise reconciliations, and harden data quality.Build lightweight Power BI/Excel reports for forecast and KPI self-serve.Partnering: Work with Practice/Project Leads on margin drivers, billing readiness, and scope changes.Coordinate with UK and SG payroll/admin and external accounting/tax providers.Team support: Partner with the CFO and Head of Finance to embed commercial cadence and reporting across the group.What success looks like

Month-end delivered by T+5 with zero material post-close adjustments. Forecast accuracy within ±5% on revenue and ±10% on EBITDA at entity level. Year-end audit completed on time with minimal management letter points.Qualifications and experience

Qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) or finalist with strong hands-on month-end ownership.An ambitious, commercially minded person, who is probably looking for their second post qualified (ACA) role and has experience working in, or with, a small/medium-sized company.Academically strong with experience of working in an ambitious, entrepreneurial and dynamic environments, ideally within the Professional Services or Marcomms sectors.Strong numerical skills essential.Confident with NetSuite (or similar ERP) and advanced Excel; Power BI a plus.Personal Characteristics
