JOB OPPORTUNITY - PROJECT MANAGER - BUILDING SAFETY PROJECTSLocation: Huddersfield, West YorkshireSalary: £60k+, DOE

The Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Project Manager to start and grow a Building Safety Projects team, including cladding remediation and fire safety improvement works.The successful candidate will take a key role in the delivery of major construction and remediation schemes ranging from £1 million to £10 million, both pre- and post-contract. This role is ideal for a professional passionate about improving safety in high-risk buildings and delivering projects in compliance with the Building Safety Act.

Responsibilities

Manage multiple building safety projects from inception through to completionServe as Employer''s Agent and Contract AdministratorOversee compliance and regulatory standards specific to high-risk buildings (HRBs)Liaise with clients, consultants, and contractors to ensure effective deliveryReport project progress to senior stakeholdersIdentify and capitalise on commercial opportunities for future development

The Ideal Candidate Will Have

Professional accreditation (e.g., MRICS, MAPM, MCIOB)A strong background in project management, preferably with safety-focused or remediation worksExcellent communication and problem-solving skillsDemonstrated leadership and team management experienceA proactive, self-motivated approach with a passion for high-quality serviceA full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
