The Role

We are looking for a SEND Teaching Assistant specialising in Autism Awareness to work closely with students across KS3 and KS4. You will provide tailored support, help create structured routines, and implement strategies that promote positive engagement and independence. This full-time role starts in January 2026, with the opportunity to extend for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities

andbull; Provide 1:1 or small group support to students with Autism Spectrum Conditions

andbull; Assist in developing personalised learning strategies and structured routines

andbull; Help maintain a calm, predictable, and supportive learning environment

andbull; Work closely with teachers, SENCOs, and external professionals to meet individual needs

andbull; Encourage communication, social development, and emotional regulation

andbull; Contribute to tracking and reporting student progress
