Pertemps are currently recruiting for experienced Machine Operators to join a leading manufacturing company based in Witton, Birmingham.
This is an excellent opportunity for skilled individuals with a background in engineering or machining to secure long-term, ongoing work within a well-established and supportive team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate machinery in line with production specifications
• Monitor machines during operation to ensure accuracy and efficiency
• Carry out quality checks to maintain high manufacturing standards
• Perform basic maintenance and adjustments as required
• Adhere to all health and safety procedures

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a machinist or within an engineering/manufacturing environment
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and follow work instructions
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Good mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
• Reliable, team-focused, and flexible approach

Details:

• 4 on / 4 off shift pattern - rotating days and nights (12-hour shifts)
• £12.50 per hour to start – Training Rate
• Parity pay after 12 weeks, with rates increasing to around £20 per hour depending on grade
• Long-term ongoing work with immediate starts available
