You''ll stay hands-on while mentoring developers, shaping technical direction, and delivering high-impact client solutions. Key duties Translate client needs into scalable, maintainable architectures. Refactor and improve Legacy systems with a focus on performance and security. Prioritise delivery with PMs and support early-stage solution design. Drive clean code, peer reviews, and team mentoring. Use 10% of time for Randamp;D, including AI, new frameworks, or cloud tech. What you''ll bring Strong commercial experience with JavaScript (Node.js), PHP, and React. Familiarity with TypeScript, Laravel, MySQL/PostgreSQL, Redis, and Docker. Exposure to AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS) and CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI). Understanding of RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and secure web application design. Real leadership experience-mentoring, code quality ownership, and architectural input. Strong communicator with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
