Rotheram Carrington Financial Recruitment is pleased to be supporting a £25m turnover business based in North Wales in the appointment of an Interim Financial Controller for an initial period of 10 months. Location is 30 minutes from Conwy, 1 hour from Chester.This is a key leadership role within the organisation, reporting directly to the CFO and taking full responsibility for the finance function, including the management of a small finance team.Key Responsibilities:Full ownership of the finance function and day-to-day financial operationsPreparation of monthly management accounts with detailed variance analysisCashflow forecasting and working capital managementBudgeting and forecasting processesOverseeing year-end processes and liaison with external auditorsMaintaining robust financial controls and governance frameworksManaging and developing a small finance teamProviding strategic financial insight to support business decision-makingSupporting systems and process improvements where requiredCandidate Profile:Qualified Accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent)Proven experience operating at Financial Controller levelStrong technical accounting knowledgeExperience within SMEs (circa £20m to £50m turnover preferred)Hands-on approach with the ability to operate both strategically and operationallyStrong leadership and stakeholder management skillsAvailable to commence assignment in March 2026Salary/Benefits£70,000 to £80,000 per annumWill consider 4 or 5 day working ..... full job details .....
