Job DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled Data Architect with existing security clearance (or eligible for EDV) to join a high-impact organization. Your expertise will help shape national data strategy, drive interoperability, and influence policy across departments.

Role:

As a Data Architect, you will design and implement cross-organizational data standards and policies. Collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders to ensure data is discoverable, trusted, and aligned with strategic goals. Build strong relationships, communicate effectively, and influence decision-makers.

Key Responsibilities

Develop standards for data labelling, lineage, quality, and discovery

Collaborate with Data Platform teams, Information Managers, and Architects

Shape and align practical data policies across the organization

Support cloud migration and data platform modernization

Skills and Experience

Strong understanding of complex data environments and ability to communicate with non-technical audiences

Proven experience achieving data interoperability across systems or organizations

Hands-on experience with data models, ontologies, catalogues, lakes, and warehouses

Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills

Self-starter with the ability to work independently

Experience with AWS and cloud data migration (preferred)

Familiarity with public sector tech, data, and compliance frameworks (bonus)

Security ClearanceMust hold or be eligible for EDV clearance. Only candidates meeting this requirement will be considered.
