I''m working for a global food manufacturer who are looking for a new Site Technical Manager. You will heading up the whole Technical department for the site, looking after all major retailers with also own-branded products.

If you''re confident working with all major retailers, maintaining the highest standards on site and leading a strong Technical team, this could be the role for you!

Responsibilities:

• Take full responsibility for food safety, legality, authenticity, and product quality across the site
• Maintain highest BRC certification and keep the site audit-ready at all times
• Ensure full compliance with BRC and retailer requirements
• Own and continuously improve the QMS, embedding a strong food safety culture
• Act as the main technical contact for major customers
• Lead external audits, customer visits, and inspections, delivering strong outcomes
• Oversee food defence, TACCP, traceability, and food fraud prevention
• Ensure product specifications, labelling, and compliance are accurate and up to standard
• Lead, develop, and strengthen technical, QA, and hygiene teams
• Maintain high standards across hygiene, sanitation, and environmental monitoring
• Take control of product recalls, withdrawals, and food safety incidents when required
• Drive improvements in audit performance, product quality, and customer satisfaction
• Monitor KPIs, complaints, supplier performance, and corrective actions

What they are looking for:

• Proven experience managing Technical/Quality teams in the Food Industry
• HACCP Level 4 and Food Safety Level 4
• Previous experience working with major retailers
• Strong knowledge of customer expectations and 3rd party audits
