Location: Glasgow, Scotland
Salary: -65,000 - -75,000 (depending on experience)

A leading building services contractor is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee the delivery of mechanical, electrical, and renewable energy projects across Scotland. Based in Glasgow, you will manage day-to-day operations, ensuring projects are delivered efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards.

This is a senior role that combines strategic oversight with hands-on management, driving performance across multiple projects and teams.

• Lead and manage the operations team across multiple projects
• Develop and implement operational strategies to meet project delivery targets
• Ensure compliance with health & safety, quality, and industry standards
• Monitor budgets, resource allocation, and project schedules
• Collaborate with clients, consultants, and internal teams to maintain excellent stakeholder relationships
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives, including adoption of sustainable and low-carbon solutions
• Oversee recruitment, training, and development of staff and apprentices

• Proven experience as an Operations Manager within the building services, construction, or M&E sector
• Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills
• Experience managing multiple projects and large teams simultaneously
• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and renewable energy systems is highly desirable
• Strategic thinker with a focus on efficiency, quality, and safety
• Relevant qualifications in construction or engineering management (preferred)
