OverviewI am recruiting for a ServiceNow Developer to work on a hybrid basis - 2 days in London, 3 days remote.

The role falls inside IR35 so you will be required to work through an umbrella company for the duration of the contract.

Candidates MUST have recently worked in Central Government.

Responsibilities

You will be responsible for supporting the development of enterprise workflows and data-driven decisions.

Experience with the ServiceNow platform, including modules like ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, CSM, and CMDB.

ServiceNow scripting: Client Scripts, Business Rules, Script Includes, UI Policies, and UI Actions.

Experience of REST/SOAP API integration: building and consuming APIs for third-party integrations.

Knowledge of ServiceNow workflows: designing and implementing Flow Designer and legacy Workflow Editor and Service Portal development: custom widgets, pages, and themes.

Proficiency in JavaScript as the core scripting language used in ServiceNow.

Hands-on experience in ServiceNow development and administration and experience in Agile/Scrum environments using tools like Jira or Azure DevOps.

Qualifications

Recent experience in Central Government.

Experience across ServiceNow modules (ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, CSM, CMDB) and ServiceNow scripting (Client Scripts, Business Rules, Script Includes, UI Policies, UI Actions).

Experience with REST/SOAP API integrations.

Experience with Flow Designer, Service Portal development, and modern ServiceNow workflows.

Strong JavaScript skills and hands-on ServiceNow development/administration in Agile/Scrum environments.

Experience with Jira or Azure DevOps is essential.
