The
UK Operations Coordinator for HSTC SELT
delivery is responsible for ensuring smooth operations, overseeing test center activities, training staff, and enhancing the overall candidate experience across LanguageCert''s SELT delivery sites. This role involves managing part-time staff at multiple UK locations and supporting business development initiatives. Regular travel across the UK and frequent on-site presence at various High Stakes Test Centres (HSTCs) is required.
Key Responsibilities:Conduct regular visits to UK High Stakes Test Centres to ensure seamless operations and adherence to company processesWork with the Head Office Operations Team to introduce and refine operational processes and contingency plans for unexpected challengesSupport UK HSTC teams in maintaining high service standards and optimizing test day operationsDeliver in-person training to HSTC staff across the UK, ensuring they are well-versed in test delivery procedures, security measures, customer service expectations, and system updatesProvide effective line management for assigned HSTC personnelManage staff scheduling based on the designated operating days and times of HSTCs each monthStep in to provide TCA emergency cover at test centers when needed or assist in sourcing temporary replacementsMonitor the quality of the test center environment to ensure this aligns with professional and operational standards and that branding is adhered toProvide insights to Business Development and Marketing teams based on site visits to identify local growth opportunitiesSupport outreach initiatives, such as distributing promotional materials to potential partners and clients during site visitsWhat We Look For:
Bachelor''s degree in business administration, operations management, or a related field preferred1-3 years of previous working experience in a multi-cultured environment would be considered a plusExceptional command of the English language (native-like fluency or C2 level certification preferred). Certifications such as LanguageCert C2 LTE or C2 IESOL are a plusStrong IT proficiency, including email, Word, and Excel. ECDL Advance level certification is desirableStrong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skillsAbility to work effectively across multiple teams, both in person and remotelyExperience in customer service, ideally within the education or exam sectorProven experience in staff management and developmentExcellent administrative and organizational skills, with the ability to manage time efficiently and meet deadlinesAttention to detail and strong record-keeping skillsUnderstanding of corporate and ethical standards in a professional settingWillingness to travel frequently across the UKWhat we offer:

Any person who is engaged by PeopleCert to work on the SELT service must undergo a Background Check (the results of which must be acceptable to PeopleCert and the HO) prior to commencing their SELT duties. All SELT personnel will be required to complete a declaration (provided by PeopleCert) where the existence of any criminal record and/or bankruptcy must be declared.If working on the SELT service in the UK, background checks will include:A basic or enhanced Disclosure Barring Service (DBS) checkRight to Work in the UK check (including nationality, identity and place of residence)HO security check (Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) or Counter Terrorist Check (CTC)Financial background checkEmployment reference checkIf working on the SELT service anywhere in the world (outside of the UK) personnel will undergo background checks that are equivalent to those stated for the UKIn addition, if personnel are required to speak to SELT candidates they must be appropriately skilled in English language and, where SELT services are provided anywhere in the world (outside of the UK), the official language of the relevant country.All applications will be treated with strict confidentiality.#J-18808-Ljbffr
