The Role
As the Year 1 Teacher, you will plan and deliver high-quality lessons that inspire curiosity, confidence, and a love of learning. We are looking for a Year 1 Teacher who can create a nurturing classroom environment where every child feels valued, challenged, and supported to achieve their best.
Working alongside experienced colleagues and skilled support staff, you will play a key role in ensuring pupils make strong academic and personal progress throughout the year.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the Key Stage 1 curriculum
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment
- Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing meaningful feedback
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching and learning across the school
- Support pupils'' academic, social, and emotional development
About You
The ideal Year 1 Teacher will hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and have recent experience teaching within Key Stage 1. Strong classroom management, excellent communication skills, and a genuine enthusiasm for primary education are essential.
