Mental Health Floating Support Worker – 37.5 hours per week, £24,043.50 - £24,843.00 per annum, full-time. Location: Hightown, Bournemouth, England, United Kingdom.We are looking for a motivated, positive and organised person to join our Mental Health Floating Support Team in Bournemouth. Act as a key Support Worker for a number of customers, carrying out regular one-to-one sessions and building positive, trusting, and respectful relationships to help clients achieve their goals and move toward independent living.Provide tenancy support, information and advice to enable individuals to take control and lead independent, fulfilled lives.Assist with access to health care, maximising income, budgeting, debt management, and signposting to other services.Support the aim to reduce and/or prevent homelessness.Work 37.5 hours per week between 9:00 and 17:00, Monday to Friday.Requirements
Be an excellent communicator with good listening and questioning skills.Be organised with good administration, IT and writing skills.Be resilient, confident, calm and practical.Be flexible, adaptable, proactive, empathic and non-judgemental.Able to network and build effective working relationships with colleagues, external agencies and service providers.Have a positive attitude and be solution-focused to achieve the best outcomes.Be self-motivated, able to use your initiative and be a great team player.Meet with individuals to carry out strengths-based needs assessments and develop support plans to maintain or build on existing skills.Have an understanding of safeguarding.Meet with other services and professionals to develop a joined-up holistic service.Driver with access to own vehicle.We Can Offer You
