We are seeking a proactive and experienced Senior Health and Safety Adviser to lead and enhance health and safety practices within the property, contracts, and trades sectors of a dynamic public sector organisation. This pivotal role involves developing, implementing, and monitoring health and safety management systems, ensuring compliance with statutory responsibilities, and fostering a culture of safety across diverse departments. You will work closely across various departments, providing specialist health and safety advice to the Council''s Housing functions and schools operating under service level agreements. The role offers a unique opportunity to refine your people management skills, contribute to service improvement and support a dynamic and proactive Health and Safety team. Key Responsibilities Lead the development and promotion of health and safety policies and procedures. Monitor and review health and safety management systems to ensure effectiveness.
