They ensure compliance with financial and regulatory requirements worldwide. The department interacts with various parts of the firm to gain comprehensive knowledge of Goldman Sachs'' businesses, products, and technology systems. Support is provided to alternative investments within Goldman Sachs Asset Management, including oversight over private funds.Controllers ensure the firm meets all financial control and reporting obligations.
