You''ll play a key part in supporting the safe, efficient, and timely delivery of medications across our services. Working closely with our pharmacists and wider multi-disciplinary team, you’ll help manage a high volume of prescription requests and provide expert support in areas including:
Medication and prescription workflow managementSafe and timely medication monitoring (including bloods and drug levels)Handling prescription queries and processing clinical lettersLiaising with community pharmacies, hospitals, and the wider MDTSupporting audits, reducing medication wastage, and contributing to cost-effective prescribingThis role is primarily based at our Nightingale site, with opportunities for working across our network of practices in South East London.What We’re Looking For...
Must-haves:
Strong communication skills (verbal and written)Excellent attention to detailRelevant pharmacy experience in a clinical setting (1 year as a minimum)Ability to work independently and as part of a teamSelf-motivated and highly organisedCommitment to continuous improvement and duty of candourDesirable:
Previous experience in a GP practice or primary careExperience using EMIS and other based Microsoft based programmesCommunity or hospital pharmacy backgroundA passion for patient care and healthcare innovationQualifications:
GPhC registration required (for Pharmacy Technicians only)Minimum GCSE-level education (or equivalent)
