This is a six-month Fixed Term Contract for 4 days a week. The position is designed to act as the key link between the Payroll Manager and the payroll team. The role ensures the efficient running of payroll operations within L’Occitane while the Payroll Manager is seconded to a key project.
What Will You Do?Payroll Operations
Serve as an escalation point for payroll queries, providing empathetic and clear resolutions.
Review and approve manual calculations and payments, ensuring audit readiness.
Liaise with third parties (e.g., HMRC, system providers) to meet service commitments.
Collaborate with Line Managers and internal partners to deliver timely and efficient service.
Systems Management
Maintain regular contact with HRIS provider (Zellis) to ensure excellent service delivery for UK and Ireland payrolls.
Engage proactively with internal stakeholders, including regional and global L’Occitane teams.
Ensure compliance and data integrity in all payroll processes.
Reporting
Manage statutory reporting (e.g., Gender Pay Gap, ONS, HMRC) ensuring timely and accurate submissions.
Provide data for internal and external audits with high standards of accuracy and presentation.
Maintain strong relationships with stakeholders and service providers.

In-depth knowledge of legal and statutory payroll requirements.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Proficient in Office365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
