Payroll and Reward Manager

We are proud to be partnering with a leading retail organisation based in Swindon, currently seeking a driven and experienced Payroll and Reward Manager to join their small and supportive team. This is a hybrid role offering flexibility (3 days in the office), and the opportunity to make a real impact across both payroll and wider reward functions.This is a key leadership position within the People function, managing the end-to-end payroll process for the UK business, leading on reward initiatives, and overseeing the successful implementation of a new HR and payroll data strategy. You will manage a small team (2 direct reports) and play a vital role in aligning payroll and reward practices with wider business goals.Key Responsibilities:Lead and manage the full UK payroll cycle, ensuring compliance and accuracyOversee reward and benefits administration and annual compensation reviewsManage and mentor two direct reports within the payroll and reward teamSupport and drive the implementation of a new HR and payroll data strategyProvide expert advice on pay, tax, pensions, and employee benefitsCollaborate with HR, Finance, and senior stakeholders to ensure seamless deliveryExperience required:Proven experience in a senior in-house payroll role, ideally with benefits/reward exposureStrong knowledge of UK payroll legislation and benefits administrationExperience implementing or supporting HR/payroll systems or data projectsLeadership capability and confidence working in a ..... full job details .....
