Arondite seeks an experienced Lead AI Research Engineer to guide our AI capabilities. You should have prior experience developing AI solutions in fast-paced commercial environments and managing high-caliber AI engineering teams. You will also contribute directly to implementing AI solutions.The solutions you develop may include AI/ML models integrated into our core software, as well as deployments on edge devices like drones and ground robots. The role involves addressing practical challenges such as data acquisition, ethical considerations, and model interpretability.As a leader in our AI team, you will shape how we leverage AI to enhance our products and internal processes.Required qualifications:Experience managing AI engineers and building engineering teamsMSc in computer science, AI, machine learning, robotics, or related fieldsProficiency in Python, Rust, C++, or JavaAt least 5 years of relevant experience in modern ML applications such as scene understanding, multi-modal sensing, control, path planning, language models, and vision-language understandingStrong communication skills for effective stakeholder engagementPassion for pragmatic AI solutions and traditional algorithmsPreferred qualifications:PhD in computer vision, ML, robotics, or related fieldsPublications in top-tier conferences/journals (e.g., CVPR, NeurIPS, ICLR, ICCV, ICRA, IROS, TPAMI)Experience with MLOps, deployment, monitoring, testing, and QA of AI modelsUnderstanding of sensor modalities and data processing for challenging scenariosExperience creating resource-efficient AI models for constrained hardwareExperience with synthetic data, simulation, or large dataset managementWe value diversity and encourage applicants from all backgrounds.
