Job Summary We are seeking a reliable and HGV Class 2 HIAB Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently to various locations. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, punctuality, and excellent driving skills, particularly in operating flatbed vehicles. Responsibilities Operate a HGV Class 2 flat bed with HIAB on the back Delivering construction equipment MUST HAVE HIAB Ticket MUST HAVE HGV Class 2 License Conduct pre-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations. Load and unload cargo, ensuring that all items are secured properly for transport. Maintain accurate delivery records and complete necessary paperwork. Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while on the road. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays. Perform routine maintenance checks on the lorry and report any issues promptly. Skills Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role, with a strong understanding of commercial driving regulations. Ability to operate a HIAB effectively. Excellent driving skills Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, particularly when handling paperwork and cargo management. Good communication skills for interacting with customers and team members. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to meet delivery deadlines.
