Seeking a Process Quality Engineer to be based on-site supporting a customer programme in Wolverhampton, working full-time, Monday to Friday. The ideal candidate will have a strong quality background, experience in product launch and development environments, and the ability to develop inspection plans and optimise inspection methods to support the delivery of high-quality aerospace components. The support will include:Interpreting engineering drawings, specifications and GDandT requirementsDeveloping and reviewing inspection plans, procedures and documentationSupporting Engineering Design Reviews with quality input (inspection feasibility, producibility, etc.)Working with engineering, production and specialist teams to resolve technical and quality issuesSupporting inspections, investigations and problem analysis during NPI and development phasesHighlighting manufacturing and fabrication issues that impact delivery performanceSupporting the design of inspection processes, equipment and fixturingWorking with the APQP lead and supporting related activitiesPlanning and coordinating MSA studiesAssisting with interpretation of manufacturing data to assess process stability and capabilitySupporting advancement of inspection methods and new technologiesDriving a culture of continuous improvement within the NPI teamExperience requirements:Previous experience in a quality-focused role within aerospace or automotive (product development or NPI experience advantageous)Strong ability ..... full job details .....
