Nuclear Licensing Engineers
to support the delivery of advanced nuclear technologies across civil and defence sectors. This role is central to ensuring compliance with regulatory frameworks and enabling the deployment of innovative reactor technologies, including SMRs, AMRs, fusion, and space reactors.Duties:Develop and implement licensing strategies and submissions.Support regulatory engagement and provide solutions to compliance challenges.Liaise with regulators, clients, and stakeholders across UK and international frameworks.Deliver technical work to support licensing plans.Represent the organisation in technical and regulatory meetings.Mentor junior colleagues and contribute to building team capability.Requirements:Degree (or equivalent experience) in a STEM discipline.Experience in nuclear regulation, licensing strategies, or regulatory submissions.Knowledge of safety analysis, environmental permitting, codes and standards, or compliance frameworks (UK, European, US, or global).Strong communication skills with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders.Chartered Engineer (or working towards chartered/incorporated status).Seniority level
