Senior Cathodic Protection and Corrosion Consultant12-Month Contract SuttonOur global offshore energy projects client is looking for an experienced Senior Cathodic Protection and Corrosion Consultant to join their Design and Analysis group within the Materials, Welding and Coating (MWC) discipline.You will work on major EPCI projects, FEEDs and tenders, with exposure to flexibles, rigid flowlines, PIP systems, subsea structures, and offshore/onshore fabrication and installation activities.What you''ll be doingProviding specialist Cathodic Protection (CP) technical support to projects and internal disciplines.Preparing CP design reports and performing CP calculations for subsea flowlines, risers and structures in line with international standards.Preparing anode specifications and Material Take Offs (MTOs) for tenders and live projects.Reviewing, clarifying and technically evaluating anode supplier offers, procedures and documentation.Acting as the single point of contact for project teams on all CP-related matters.Performing corrosion assessments and CO corrosion rate modelling for pipelines.Participating in meetings with clients, vendors and suppliers, resolving technical issues as required.Supporting fabrication, installation, Quality and Supply Chain Management (SCM) teams and ensuring effective communication across all interfaces.What we''re looking forExtensive experience in CP system design and calculations, ideally in the subsea oil and gas sector.Strong understanding ..... full job details .....
