The Role

We are seeking a talented legal counsel with commercial experience to join Ravelin. Reporting into the Head of Legal, your experience in commercial transactions and contract negotiation will play a crucial role in supporting the growth and development of the company. The ideal candidate will be able to handle multiple areas of responsibilities autonomously, and demonstrate an excellent balance of critical and commercial judgement.

Responsibilities

Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements, including order forms, vendor contracts and marketing contractsProvide advice to various departments within the company, including sales, account management, marketing, and product teams, on a broad spectrum of legal issues related to technology, intellectual property, data protection, and moreStay up to date on relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards, in order to assist the company''s compliance with legal requirementsMaintain various standard agreements / templatesGet involved with special projects as needed, including new product developments and AI projects, while taking into consideration their legal and regulatory impact on the company.

Requirements

Qualified lawyer with around 0-1 years of post-qualification experience in commercial lawPrior experience working in a law firm''s technology or commercial practice, and/or as in-house counsel for a tech company, is highly desirableExperience in drafting and reviewing a variety of commercial agreementsInterest in and understanding of technology-related legal matters, including intellectual property, data protection, and regulatory complianceExcellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to communicate complex legal concepts to non-legal stakeholdersStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, coupled with a proactive and solution-oriented approachAbility to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environmentAdaptable and open to learning about new technologies and legal developments in the AI industry
