Early Years Practitioner Level 3

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Practitioner to join a-vibrant early childhood education team near Chertsey, Surrey. The ideal candidate will have experience working with young children, demonstrating strong management and leadership skills.-

Duties

• Plan and deliver age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development in line with early childhood education standards
• Supervise and support children during play, meal times, and rest periods, ensuring their safety at all times
• Observe and record children''s progress, providing feedback to parents and team members
• Support the professional development of junior staff or interns through mentorship and guidance

Skills/ Qual''s

• Proven experience in childcare or nursery settings, with a strong understanding of early childhood development principles
• Demonstrated management and leadership capabilities within a childcare environment
• Level 3 Qualification in Childcare or Early Years
• Excellent communication skills in English, able to engage effectively with children, parents, and team members
• Strong organisational skills to manage daily routines efficiently
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also demonstrating initiative
• Valid DBS
• Valid driving licence preferred to facilitate transportation duties when necessary
