Part Time Bookkeeper

Job Title: Part Time Bookkeeper Location: Birmingham, Cradley Heath Hours: Part TimeTemporary to Permanent for the right candidate.SF Recruitment are seeking an experienced Part Time Bookkeeper, on a long term contract for our SME client. This is a hands-on role where you will be responsible for accounts payable, accounts receivable, credit control, and payroll preparation. You will work closely with the external accountants to ensure compliance, accuracy, and smooth month-end and year-end processes. Key Responsibilities Accounts Payable Process purchase invoices and credit notes accurately and promptlyReconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepanciesPrepare weekly/monthly payment runs and ensure timely supplier paymentsManage staff expenses and company credit card transactions Accounts Receivable Raise sales invoices in line with company procedures and contractsAllocate customer receipts to the ledger accuratelyMaintain the customer database and resolve billing queriesMonitor debtors and ensure accurate reporting of outstanding balancesCredit Control Month-end duties Journalsprepayments/accruals, reconciliationsVerify payroll data for accuracy before submission to external accountantsBank reconciliations (weekly/monthly)Assist with VAT returns and audit preparationPrepare ad hoc reports and analysis for management as required Skills and Experience Proven experience as a Bookkeeper in an SME environmentSolid understanding of accounts payable, receivable, and credit ..... full job details .....
